I've been a member of Powerhouse Gym in Jackson for over a year now. its a 24 hr facility and the one thing I like the most is that has lots of equipment. So those two factors, means that most likely you won't have to wait for equipment. That was a selling factor to me. Included with the gym membership comes boot camp. Which its a great complement to weightlifting. Staff is great and very knowledgeable, facilities are well kept. The only downside is that it only has two showers.
My favourite gym im Jackson. It is never too busy and is very clean. They have awsome programs and classes that are included with the membership at no extra cash.
Best place in Jackson to get a workout in without being judged or feeling like you don't fit it.
Love the atmosphere and the price is right for what they offer
Gym is nice, alot of machines and free weights. Not busy. Only wish they offer variety of packages like planet fitness to bring a pal.
I would recomend this gym to anyone that is looking for a place to give you guidance on how to better your health and routine.
Next to it, its 517 CrossFit. I've now joined it and as far as results, I couldn't be any happier.
