Another red flag...the stylist next to us didn't even know how to do a clipper cut on her client sitting in the chair. Lana was giving her directions the whole time!!!
I called on Saturday for an appt & by luck, they were able to get me in that afternoon. My stylist was Lana. I told her that I wanted a "shoulder length angled bob". (I walked in with hair down to my shoulders.) I also told her that I only wanted about an inch to an inch 1/2 taken off. I also told her to make sure that the front is long enough where I can tuck it behind my ears. I also told her that the top of my head is very sensitive and my hair is very thin right there, so be careful. (I cannot count the times I said OUCH while she was vigorously washing, cutting and blowing out my hair.) She apparently did not hear a word I said, because she was too busy telling me about her live-in boyfriend problems. She also took a personal call while cutting my hair...
On another note...for the prices they charge AND being a "salon"...I should not see black duct tape on the chairs, stained ceiling tiles or dirty scuffed up walls.
She QUICKLY cut (chopped) my hair. I've been wearing my hair in this style for almost 15 years. I have never, I repeat never, had any stylist cut my hair the way that she did. She pulled my hair into a ponytail, took the scissors & chopped off the ponytail. After running my fingers through my hair, I told her it was a bit uneven... she looked offended (facial expression/body language) & I could also hear it in her voice. She stated to me that it was not uneven, that she knows what she's doing because she's been cutting hair for 20 years. She also said that my hairstyle is one of the easiest to do... that a master stylist taught her the process for doing an angled bob. She also promised that I will walk out with the best haircut of my life.
Missy did an amazing job on my sons hair today!!! She was so kind and made him feel comfortable (he is 5) We will definitely be back for future cuts❤️
"chin-length bob" & chunky bangs. I didn't realize just how bad the haircut was until I got home. I look like I spent $12 & went to Great Clips. I was charged $32 for an "Express Cut"... but yet, I made an appointment. I was not a walk-in.
I made an appointment for 12:30 on Friday with Josie for color and trim. At first I was rather aggravated with the late start which was 15 minutes late. Considering everything that was probably not bad. Josie did a great job with the color and cut. She is very talented and will do you a good job.
